Description
The Lake Park Area Historical Society has the desire to preserve the historic importance of Lake Park, MN. Under their care, the Society looks over two main properties. The first is the Amdal House, where their main headquarters are located and the other is the Old Country School House, one of the few remaining schoolhouses in Becker County. Within the schoolhouse, the society has antique desks on display as well as past photos of the students who attended the school. The Lake Park Area Historical Society is continuing on in their journey to preserving the city’s history by creating more collections that are accessible to the community. Join them on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Lake Park City Center, to attend their monthly meeting.
