Description

The Lake Region Pioneer Threshermen’s Association holds an extensive amount of history on their past’s recreational activities. The museum holds different building sites that feature unique artifacts. Some of these sites include an old gas station showing old restored cars, a town hall that holds early 1900s attire, a railroad train depot with a working train, a print shop with platen press and folder that operates, a blacksmith shop with a blow torch display, steam room with a variety of steam engines, a church, Lavern’s General Store with old items, and a wash house room with an antique washing machine. Other places that exhibit their artifacts on display include their Agriculture Museum, Heritage Museum, Memorial building and their recently built Duck Hunting Heritage Building, which displays their pioneer’s past in duck hunting. The Lake Region Pioneer Threshermen’s Association holds an Annual Show during the weekend after Labor Day in September.
