Description

The Stevens County Historical Society & Museum holds numerous amounts of artifacts and information that displays what life on the prairie was like during the late 19th century. Not only does it include the historic exhibits on homemaking and agriculture of that time, but it also includes information on past cemetery records, censuses, photographs, manuscripts and indexes on Steven county from the late 1800s up until the early 1940s, allowing a vast amount of help on genealogy work. Other resources include high school indexes and yearbooks, military records and plat map indexes on the county. The Museum also includes past newspapers and magazines such as the Great Northwest Magazine.
