Description

The Marshall County Historical Society includes the Settler’s Square, which consists of numerous amounts of historic buildings that represent the county during the late 1800s. Included in the historic buildings are a Local Bank, a Saloon, a Photographer’s Studio, a Barbershop, a General Store, and a Millinery Store. As well, they also include a depot station, the Alma Church, and other cabins and shops. Within these sites, they offer exhibits featuring military uniforms and artifacts, vintage children’s toys, old agricultural machinery and tools, and vintage vehicles, including the famous UFO car. Throughout the year, the Marshall County Historical Society offer special events including, the Marshall County Fair at the end of July and Grinding Days at the Old Mill in late August.
