Description
The Kittson County Historical Society holds the Kittson County Museum & History Center within Lake Bronson, MN. They include a variety of vintage agriculture equipment, a Red River ox cart, a 1904 Rambler, and a 1929 Harley Davidson. They also include several historic buildings on the grounds including a depot, caboose, schoolhouse, log cabin and a church. Along with their different exhibits that they have, the Kittson County Museum & History Center have access to the county’s past documents. Such documents include a microfilm library on the county’s past newspapers dating back to the late 1880s to present, as well as state and federal census records from the late 1800s to early 1900s. A website is also accessible for the community post photos, document or other family treasures of their families or that they have found, to others.
