Exhibits include photos and short histories on the Milford Mine Disaster, 100 year old logging tools, and the ability to search through past high school yearbooks and directories from the Miners Hospital. One other exhibit of particular interest highlights the first man in space, Dr. David Simons, who went up in a hot air balloon-like capsule, from the Portsmith Mine. The Soo Line Depot Museum has an exact replica of the capsule on display. In collaboration with the Cuyuna Lakes Recreation Area, the Network has produced bike trails around the mine lakes for the public to use and access.
