The Wilkin County Historical Society instills a necessity of preserving the county’s historical meaning. The museum holds a wide variety of tools and artifacts depicting what life was like back in the late 1800s to early 1900s. Among the historical displays, the museum also offers research in past Wilkin county newspapers, obituaries and past townspeople’s biographies from the years 1881 to 1991.
