Pioneer Farm & Village

Description

The Roseau Pioneer Farm and Village serves as historical sites to represent and display the agriculture and past pioneer way of living in that area. Within their grounds, they have a post office with old switchboards, a general store, a print shop featuring old Roseu newspapers from the late 1800s to early 1940s, an old school house from the Wannaska area, a church featuring records on past members, a blacksmith shop, a log cabin, and amphitheater. They also serve a fall festival, pioneer school days, Scandinavian days, car shows, and holiday lighting all throughout the year.
